A dedicated badger ecology practice — not a general pest controller.
Crown & Burrow is a Natural England–licensed badger specialist. We help commercial clients resolve badger conflicts the right way: lawfully, humanely, and without the delays that come from getting protected-species work wrong.
Badgers and their setts are protected under the Protection of Badgers Act 1992. Disturbing, damaging or obstructing a sett without a licence is a criminal offence — so on any site where badgers are present, the work has to be planned and licensed properly. That's what we do, every day.

Our badger removal process
From survey to sign-off
A licensed ecologist confirms sett locations, status and activity across your site and a sensible buffer.
We produce a mitigation plan and, where a sett must be affected, secure the Natural England development licence.
Humane one-way gates and stainless-steel mesh exclude badgers over a minimum 21-day period, outside the closed season.
Where needed we build artificial setts, then monitor and maintain the works so the result lasts.
