Our story
We exist to keep badgers and people on the right side of the law — and of each other.
Badgers are one of Britain's most protected mammals. When they dig into gardens, undermine railway embankments, or occupy a development site, landowners are often unsure what they're legally allowed to do. The answer is rarely simple, and getting it wrong carries criminal liability.
Crown & Burrow was founded to bridge that gap: a dedicated badger ecology practice that surveys, plans, and delivers fully licensed mitigation — protecting the wildlife and the client in equal measure.
We work nationwide from our base in the Surrey Hills, supporting homeowners, commercial sites, developers, and infrastructure operators with calm, evidence-led advice and humane, durable solutions.

How we work
Every engagement begins with a proper badger survey — we never recommend works before we understand the sett.
Sett interference is carried out strictly under Natural England licence, outside the closed season, with full documentation.
One-way gates, exclusion fencing and purpose-built artificial setts — relocation, never destruction.
